Jnana

Graduation Project / Personal Project

Jnana is my graduation project turned personal passion, telling the story of a knowledge-based village targeted by neighboring alliances driven by envy. The tale follows an unlikely young hero caught in chaos, who seeks refuge and discovers a mysterious creature imprisoned in a hidden cave. It’s a work in progress, but I'm excited to share it!

Samurai Sam

This project was a collaborative effort, developed as part of a VR Game class. Our team consisted of six members: two animators, two programmers, and two narrative/concept artists. I was one of the two team members responsible for coding, and we also took on the task of creating 3D assets, as we were the only ones who had taken the 3D modeling course. With our combined efforts, we successfully brought our vision to life and developed a playable game demo, huzzah!
Samurai Sam follows the journey of, well, Samurai Sam (I know, shocking). His mission? To collect paper cranes, which will grant him a wish powerful enough to rescue his beloved from the clutches of the evil samurai. But will Sam use his wish to save his love, or will fate have other plans?

Jnana

Jnana was my graduation project and has since evolved into my personal passion project. The name is still subject to change, but at its core, Jnana tells the story of a village built on knowledge, a society that flourished through wisdom, innovation, and a deep respect for the balance between science and nature. They had little interest in war, no formidable army, but an abundant and thriving agriculture. Unfortunately, their peaceful way of life made them a target. Consumed by envy, the neighboring villages formed an alliance, determined to wipe Jnana off the map, erasing all traces of its existence. Our story begins with an unlikely hero, a young student who starts his day like any other, running late to class, but before he can reach his destination, chaos erupts. Screams fill the air, fires spread, and panic takes hold. Swept up in the fleeing crowd, he desperately searches for an escape. In his frantic attempt to find safety, he stumbles upon a hidden cave, a refuge from the destruction above. As he ventures deeper, a mysterious light beckons him forward, pulling him further into the unknown. And then, in the heart of the cavern, he finds something, or someone. A creature, bound in chains, imprisoned within the darkness...

I could go on, but I don’t want to give too much away. It’s still a work in progress, but one I’m incredibly excited about.

Catsterpeice

Catsterpiece is a story-driven, top-down 2D adventure where the line between reality and fantasy begins to blur in a world ruled entirely by cats! Players take on the role of Baklava, our main character, a young woman who suddenly finds herself trapped in this whimsical yet unsettling feline realm. Her only way back home? Earning enough cat dollars before dawn. If she fails, she’ll never leave because she won’t be human anymore. It all begins on a freezing winter night. The streets are empty, the storm muffling the city in an eerie silence. Snowflakes swirl under flickering streetlights as Baklava waits for the last bus home. Just as she’s about to give up, headlights pierce through the snowy haze. A strange red “cat bus” pulls up. Too cold and too tired to question it, she steps inside, only to realize that she is the only human passenger. When she arrived at her destination, she realises that she’s no longer in the city she knows. Instead, she finds herself in a surreal, cat-ruled world. To escape, she must take on odd jobs, complete bizarre tasks, and earn her fare but time is against her. If she doesn’t catch the first and only bus at 7:00 AM a week later and have enough money to cover her fine and her upcoming fare, she’ll remain in this world forever. As the clock ticks down, she’ll explore winding alleyways, uncover hidden secrets, and negotiate with the city’s feline residents, some helpful, some mischievous, and others hiding motives she doesn’t yet understand and with every passing hour, something unsettling begins to happen. The more she lingers, the more she starts to change. Will she make it back before the week’s end, or will she become just another lost soul in Catsterpiece?
